| For the week of May 25th through May 31st, the all-volunteer Yardley Makefield Fire Company responded to 9 calls.
May 25 --- Dispatched for three calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Colts Lane, in the Bridle Estates development. The second call was for a mutual aid assist to Newtown (Station 45), for Tower 80 to respond and cover their district while all their units were tied up at a house fire. The third call was dispatched for burning electrical wires in a home on Victory Drive, off Liberty Drive.
May 29 --- Dispatched for two calls. The first call was dispatched for an activated fire alarm at a home on Effingham Road, in the Westover development. The second call was dispatched for a fire investigation on River Road, in the area of Woodside Road.
May 30 --- Dispatched for two calls. The first call was dispatched for an activated fire alarm at a home on North Crescent Boulevard, near Edgewood Road. The second call was for a dumpster fire in the parking lot of St. John the Evangelist Church, on Big Oak Road.
May 31 --- Dispatched for two calls. The first call was dispatched for an activated fire alarm at a home on Aspen Woods Drive, in the Makefield Glen development. The second call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Lang Court, in the Hidden Oaks development.
