| For the week of June 8th through June 14th, the all-volunteer Yardley Makefield Fire Company responded to 11 calls.
June 8 --- Dispatched for an activated fire alarm at a home on Waterwheel Drive, in the Mill Run development.
June 9 --- Dispatched for two calls. The first call was dispatched for an activated fire alarm at a home on Surrey Lane, in the Bridle Estates development. The second call was dispatched for a dwelling fire on Innis Lane, off Quarry Commons Drive.
June 10 --- Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at D'Youville Nursing Home, on Quarry Road. The second call was for a mutual aid assist to Newtown (Station 45), for Tower 80 and Rescue 0 to respond for a dwelling fire on Dawson Road.
June 11 --- Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Fairway Drive, off West College Avenue. The second call was for "fumes in the dwelling" at a home on Shadybrook Drive.
June 13 --- Dispatched for three calls. The first call was dispatched for an activated carbon monoxide alarm at a home on Leslie Lane, in the Yardley Estates development. The second call was dispatched for an activated fire alarm at the Sovereign Bank, in the Oxford Oaks shopping center on Big Oak Road. The third call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Alton Road, off Terracedale Road.
June 14 --- Dispatched for an activated carbon monoxide alarm at a home on Glen Drive, in the River Glen development.
