For the week of July 13th through July 19th, the all-volunteer Yardley Makefield Fire Company responded to 20 calls.

  July 14  --- Dispatched for three calls. The first call was for an odor of gas in the area of Briarwood Court and Gainsway Road. The second call was for an activated fire alarm at Manor Care Nursing Home, on Oxford Valley Road. The third call was dispatched for an activated fire alarm at a home on Slate Hill Road, in the River Gate development.

July 15 --- Dispatched for three calls. The first call was for a mutual aid assist to Morrisville (Station 98), for Rescue 0 to respond for a building fire on South Pennsylvania Avenue. The second call was for an activated fire alarm at Makefield Elementary School, on Makefield Road. The third call was for an activated fire alarm at Kohl's Department Store in the Oxford Oaks Shopping Center, on Big Oak Road.

July 16 --- Dispatched for six calls. The first call was for a standby at an accident scene on at the intersection of Yardley Langhorne Road and Mirror Lake Road. The second call was for a mutual aid assist to Newtown (Station 45), for Tower 80 to respond and cover their district while all their units were tied up at a fire. The third call was for an activated carbon monoxide alarm at a home on Greenhill Road, off Norway Drive. The fourth call was dispatched for fumes outside a home on Throwbridge Drive, off Lindenhurst Road. The fifth call was for burning electrical wires outside a home on Morningside Drive, near Edgewood Road. The sixth call was for a mutual aid assist to Newtown (Station 45), for Rescue 0 and Tower 80 to respond for a building fire at the Goddard School on Pheasant Run Road, off Terry Drive.

July 17 --- Dispatched for three calls. The first call was for a dwelling fire at a home on Moon Drive, near North Milton Drive. The second call was for a rekindle at the same home on Moon Drive. The third call was for an activated carbon monoxide alarm at a home on Dolington Road, near Sunnyside Lane.

July 18 --- Dispatched for three calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Surrey Lane, in the Bridle Estates development. The second call was for an auto extrication at the intersection of Lindenhurst Road and Hillside Lane, the scene of a multi-vehicle accident. The third call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Covington Road, in the Makefield Glen development.

July 19 --- Dispatched for two calls. The first call was a special assignment to assist the squad with a patient on Weinmann Way, off Moyer Road. The second call was for an activated fire alarm at Sunrise Assisted Living on Stony Hill Road.
