| For the week of August 31st through September 6th, the all-volunteer Yardley Makefield Fire Company responded to 7 calls.
August 31 --- Dispatched for a fire investigation in the area of East College Avenue and Pennsylvania Avenue.
September 1 --- Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at Sunrise Assisted Living, on Stony Hill Road. The second call was for an activated fire alarm at a business in Makefield Executive Quarters, on Oxford Valley Road.
September 2 --- Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Revere Road, in the Yardley Hunt development. The second call was for a fire investigation in the area of Liberty Drive and Victory Drive.
September 4--- Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for a special assignment to assist the squad with a patient on North Milton Drive, off Rickert Drive. The second call was for was for an appliance fire at a home on Wheatsheaf Road, in the Fairfield development.
