| For the week of November 23rd through November 29th, the all-volunteer Yardley Makefield Fire Company responded to 10 calls.
November 23 --- Dispatched for the company to stand by at the scene of an accident on Edgewood Road, near Whitehall Drive.
November 24 --- Dispatched for burning electrical wires on a pole, at the intersection of Makefield and Big Oak Roads.
November 25 --- Dispatched for burning electrical wires on a pole on Oxford Valley Road, near Emerald Drive.
November 27 --- Dispatched for four calls. The first call was for burning electrical wires on a pole on Oxford Valley Road, near Brock Creek Drive. The second call was for an activated fire alarm at Arden Court Nursing Home on Stony Hill Road. The third call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Stackhouse Drive, near Black Rock Road. The fourth call was for an activated water flow alarm at the Golden China Restaurant on Floral Vale Boulevard.
November 28 --- Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at a business on South Main Street, near College Avenue. The second call was for a working fire at a home on Waltham Court, in the Makefield Glen development.
November 29 --- Dispatched for an activated water flow alarm at the Golden China Restaurant on Floral Vale Boulevard.
