| For the week of January 11th through January 17th, the all-volunteer Yardley Makefield Fire Company responded to 11 calls.
January 11 --- Dispatched for six calls. The first call was for a mutual aid assist to Falls (Station 30), for Rescue 0 to respond for an apartment fire at the Castle Club Apartments, on West Trenton Avenue. The second call was for a dwelling fire at a home on University Drive, near Albright Drive. The third call was for an activated fire alarm at Arden Courts Nursing Home on Stony Hill Road. The fourth call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Covington Road, in the Makefield Glen development. The fifth call was for an activated fire alarm at Makefield Elementary School, on Makefield Road. The sixth call was for a mutual aid assist to Falls (Station 30), for Rescue 80 to respond for a dwelling fire on Howley Drive, near Hedgerow Drive.
January 12 --- Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for an accident with fire at the entrance to Makefield Executive Quarters, on Oxford Valley Road. The second call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Oxford Valley Road, near Countess Drive.
January 13 --- Dispatched for an activated fire alarm at a home on Ashbourne Drive, in the Makefield Brook development.
January 14 --- Dispatched for a trash truck fire at the intersection of Heather Ridge Drive and Lindenhurst Road.
January 17 --- Dispatched for an activated carbon monoxide alarm at a home on Palmer Farm Drive, in the Palmer Farm development.
