For the week of February 8th through February 14th the all-volunteer Yardley Makefield Fire Company responded to 31 calls.

  February 8 --- Dispatched on a mutual aid assist to Morrisville (Station 98), for Ladder 0 to respond for a dwelling fire at a home on Elm Avenue.

 February 10 --- Dispatched for 18 calls during the snowstorm. Dispatched for burning wires at the intersection of Sandy Run Road and West College Avenue. Dispatched for fumes in the dwelling at a home on Knox Court in the Yardley Hunt development. Dispatched for burning electrical wires on Bedford Place. Dispatched for burning electrical wires on Wrightfield Avenue. Dispatched for a burning odor inside a home on Wrightfield Avenue. Dispatched for burning electrical wires in two different areas on Yardley Newtown Road and also at the intersection of Makefield Road and Pennsbury Court. Dispatched to stand-by an accident on Cedar Hollow Drive, in the Makefield Glen development. Dispatched for burning electrical wires on Buck Creek Circle, Sandy Run Road, Yardley Road, Oxford Valley Road, Big Oak Road, and Woodland Drive. Dispatched for an appliance fire on Patrick Lane, off Sandy Drive. Dispatched for burning electrical wires at the intersection of Edgewood Road and Morningside Drive, and then Hunt Drive and Yardley Newtown Road.

February 11 --- Dispatched for three calls. The first call was for burning electrical wires at the intersection of Fordham Avenue and Route 332. The second call was to assist the squad with removing a patient from her home on South Main Street. The third call was for burning electrical wires on West Afton Avenue.

 February 12 --- Dispatched for six calls. The first call was for an activated carbon monoxide alarm at a home on Merrick Road, in the Longshore Estates development. The second call was for an activated carbon monoxide alarm at a home on Highland Drive. The third call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Ploughshare Road, in the Willow Wisp development. The fourth call was for burning electrical wires in front of a home on Lenape Lane. The fifth call was for a mutual aid assist to Falls (Station 30), for Rescue 0 to respond for a dwelling fire on Centennial Drive, in the Penns Grant development. The sixth call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Patriot Drive, in the Yardley Hunt development.

February 13 --- Dispatched for an activated fire alarm at a home on Bud Lane, in the Tanglewood development.

February 14 --- Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for a special assignment to assist the squad with a patient on Penn Valley Drive. The second call was for a dwelling fire on Powderhorn Drive, in the Dolington Estates development.
